FAQ

1. What are DTF transfers?

DTF (Direct-to-Film) transfers are heat-applied designs printed onto a special film and then pressed onto garments using a heat press. They produce vibrant colors, fine details, and a soft, durable finish. DTF transfers work on cotton, polyester, blends, and many other fabrics, making them a versatile solution for custom apparel.

2. How fast is your turnaround time?

Most orders are printed and shipped within 1–2 business days after the order is placed and artwork is approved. Orders placed on weekends or holidays are processed on the next business day. Production times may vary slightly during peak seasons, but we always work to meet our stated turnaround.

3. How much does shipping cost?

We offer flat-rate shipping of $9.99 on any size order. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges. All orders ship directly from Florida, USA.

4. Where are your DTF transfers printed?

All ZMATransfers orders are printed, packed, and shipped in-house from our Florida facility. We do not outsource or ship overseas, which helps us maintain consistent quality and fast turnaround times.

5. What file types and artwork quality do you require?

We recommend uploading high-resolution PNG files with a transparent background at 300 DPI for best results. Low-resolution, blurry, or pixelated artwork may not print clearly. We print artwork exactly as submitted and do not edit, resize, or correct files.

6. What is a gang sheet?

A gang sheet is a single large sheet that contains multiple designs arranged together. This allows you to print several logos or graphics at once, helping reduce costs. You can either build your gang sheet using our online builder or upload a ready-to-print file.

7. Do you offer artwork editing or design services?

No. ZMATransfers does not provide artwork editing, resizing, or design services. All artwork is printed exactly as uploaded. Please double-check your files, sizing, and layout before submitting your order.

8. What heat press settings should I use?

While settings can vary by garment and press, we generally recommend:

  • Temperature: 300–320°F

  • Pressure: Medium to firm

  • Press time: 10–15 seconds

Always test on a sample garment first to achieve the best results.

9. What is your return or replacement policy?

Because all transfers are custom printed, we do not accept returns or exchanges. However, we offer a 100% Quality Guarantee. If there is a production error on our end—such as damage, defects, or incorrect items—we will reprint or replace your order at no cost. Issues must be reported within 3 days of delivery with clear photos.
