Artwork File Requirements

To ensure the best possible print quality, we recommend following the artwork guidelines below before submitting your files. While we accept most file types, proper file setup is essential for sharp, vibrant DTF transfers.

Accepted File Types

We accept all standard file formats, but for optimal results, we strongly recommend:

  • Vector files (Preferred):
    SVG, AI, EPS
Vector artwork produces the sharpest edges and cleanest prints at any size.

  • Raster files:
    PNG, JPG, PDF
Raster artwork must be high resolution to avoid pixelation.

Recommended Resolution

  • Minimum resolution: 300 DPI

  • Low-resolution files may appear blurry or pixelated when printed.

  • Files submitted below 300 DPI will be printed as received and may affect final print quality.

Canva & Procreate Users

If you design using Canva or Procreate, we recommend exporting your artwork as a PDF to preserve detail and ensure the highest print quality.

Minimum Detail Size

DTF printing captures fine detail exceptionally well, but extremely small elements may not transfer cleanly.

  • Minimum detail size: 0.02 inches (0.5 mm)

  • Text, thin lines, and small details below this size may lose definition or fail to transfer properly.

Ensure all small text and fine lines meet or exceed this minimum for best results.

Important Notes

  • We print artwork exactly as submitted

  • ZMATransfers does not edit, resize, correct, or adjust artwork

  • Customers are responsible for verifying file quality, sizing, and layout before submitting orders
